Frequently asked questions

Where exactly does my donation go?

All donations are ring-fenced and disbursed exclusively to PreEminent Academy on behalf of students with verified financial need. Funds cover tuition, registration, exam fees, and program materials at the Academy. Operational costs are not funded from donor contributions.

How will I know my donation was received?

PayFast will send a payment confirmation immediately. The Foundation will send a donor acknowledgement within 2 working days of payment verification through our secure ITN system.

How do I set up a monthly donation?

Select "Monthly recurring" from the donation type dropdown. Recurring donation support is subject to PayFast recurring billing being enabled on your account. Contact us if you encounter any issues.

Is this donation tax-deductible?

Tax deductibility is subject to the Foundation's current Section 18A status and the prevailing tax regulations applicable to your situation. Please verify the Foundation's current tax status before making claims. Contact management@preeminent.org.za for compliance documentation.

When does the Foundation publish impact reports?

An annual outcomes report is published in the first quarter of each year covering the previous calendar year. Registered donors receive the report directly. Reports include totals, program breakdowns, completion data, and governance compliance confirmation.

Can my company donate for B-BBEE SED credit?

Yes. Corporate donations to PreEminent Foundation that fund PreEminent Academy students qualify for Socio-Economic Development (SED) spend classification under B-BBEE. The Foundation issues confirmation letters with all required documentation. Visit the Partners page for full detail on corporate giving structures.
